Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 First Look

How do the Microsoft Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 stack up?

I recently teamed up with Microsoft to not only create a series of videos on the new Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 but also to take a look at it here on my channel. With a detachable keyboard that houses a dedicated Nvidia GPU the Surface Book is an interesting take on a laptop where the Surface Pro 4 takes the more tablet focused route with the new Type Cover.

I have to say - despite the marketing for the normal Surface/Surface Pro products confusingly staying the same "It's a tablet that beats your laptop" through the sequels - the Surface Book definitely has me intrigued.

I have an SP3 that I use almost everyday still. I heard the SP4 has a brighter screen also compared to the SP3 and I like the fact you don't need a pen loop anymore.

I just recently bought a Surface Pro 4 and I'm loving it! Wish I could've afforded the Surfacebook, but the Pro 4 is still an awesome machine. I love how light it is. I just throw it in my backpack and off I go! Perfect for school. Its also pretty fun to take notes on it with the new pen. All around solid machine.

im pretty sure there was more negative things that he wanted to say but i could clearly see this video was heavily influenced. The fact that you had to hold the screen at 1:12 just so it could stop wobbling should've been a caveat but you didn't mention it... Im always suspicious of reviewers who have nothing to criticize because no product is perfect, they are all made by imperfect beings. Im gunna cut it some slack because this was a "first look" but im hoping in the review it will have both sides to the surface.
