Hey Daxi i dont know if you know this but you get extra candy from raids no matter what is mega evolved could use gengar for the zaician and still get the boosted candies even though types dont match

Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you complete a raid, it doesn’t matter what type you mega evolve. You could mega a Gengar to get extra poison damage on Zacian, and still get the XL candy boost.

Mind you this is just for raids, not wild spawns.

Medal tips? Catch every Rattata you can!!
Youngster Medal, catch 1000 tiny Rattata (<2.41KG)
It's an uncommon spawn and not often in field research.
Compared to the Fisher Medal, catch 1000 big Magikarp... always in field research (Catch 7. Now diluted with Stufful and Wimpod)
Both can also be caught from the right grunt, should you find it.
Luckily, as with progress on the Pikachu Fan Medal, trades count towards these medals.

Got shiny zacian on first raid itself ❤. I recommend everyone to raid in zaragosa spain red gyms. They have the most chances of having shiny good iv. I got my shiny kyogre 88 iv too in Zaragoza Spain red gym and now zacia
