In order for your brush not to dry you have to leave it in the cut pot when you're not using it. If you want to be able to cut straight lines really fast, take your paintbrush and jam it in the paint a few times wipe it on the side of the bucket and repeat. This will make sure the inside of your brush is holding all the paint as opposed to the exterior which will cause a lot less mess and drips. You'll be able to swipe longer areas and I recommend starting about 7 inches down from the line. This will also help when rolling, you won't be so close to the ceiling or sides with a nice 8 inch thick cut in line. You're welcome

I'm super paranoid as I taped around my dry walled house and painted . The tape tears a lot of drywall facing paper off ( previously with mortar wall, taping is fantastic). And with low tack, there're paint bleed. So I turned to cut in with just brushes.
I did it with 1cm brush ( 1/25 inch ), and thought it's not good enough...however I think I did a better job than the video shows. Does that mean my result is acceptable ?
My mind still want to recreate that taped line on mortar wall which is 100% straight even with super close inspection.

Time is money. That painter will cost me plenty of both. They say slow and steady wins the race but this guy is super lethargic.... Even for an instructional video.
