I love how EVERY SINGLE FONV dlc references Ulysses at some point in their plots.

This setting was the exact other end of the spectrum to Honest Hearts. Zion was one of the most radioactive clean places in any area of New Vegas. So clean you could drink the toilets and not die of radiation poisoning. Lonesome road is the exact opposite. It's all about as much radiation as possible. Some areas can even reach up to 20 RPS or even more. It's the most Irradiated areas of new Vegas and that includes Searchlight and vault 34

It’s been nearly ten years, and I still feel like this was the grand finale of the Fallout series, if not literally then thematically. What a game New Vegas is.

That’s not to say there definitively isn’t anything more to be said in Fallout, just that it’s yet to be said.

The Divide felt so desolate and hopeless.

Ulysses is one of the biggest badasses in the entire Fallout franchise. Next to Frank Horrigan. Or the Chosen One. "I'll get you in my next save game!"

For people who dont understand the DLC, its about how when Ulysses was in Caezars Legion he found The Divide, which was an ideal place to have a community, almost a paradise of the wasteland. The NCR then found it and Annexed it. Caezar then sent a Army to take it, so the NCR sent a Courier with a package that would stop the legion advance, but it ended up destroying the entire region and nothing is left but wastes, huge tornadoes, rageing storms, dark crawling creatures and the Red Mutant men.

To me the best part of this DLC is how conclusive it is. It really feels like a lot of things had built up to the moments that come at the very end of it. It feels like just a gigantic climatic showdown that will decide the fate of the west, and possibly the entire world! Not to shit on Fallout 4 more than the rest of the internet already has but...

FALLOUT: New Vegas is deff my favorite Fallout game and possibly my fav game of that gen of consoles. The story was amazing and the style was epic. 10/10 including all dlcs. If you take your time and nit rush through the quests and dialigue its very easy to get lost in this world.
