I travel only in summer for a camping trip. I bought the Tarte Hamptons Weekender last summer and loved it as my face palette. So that and my bb-cream and I'm fine. And for my eyes I think the Huda Nude Obsessions light will be my pick. I don't need a dark evening look. Some mascara and a tinted lipbalm and I'm fine for the camping.

Thank you! I always struggle with picking what take. I do like traveling with my smashbox cover shot in golden hour...it’s not quite perfect but it’s pretty good. Of course I’m not sure you can get it anymore. But it’s got some pretty rose, shimmer taupe, and even a purple that make it a fun one to take.

I travel a lot for business and have most of these palettes because you have recommended. Your other packing video was bomb and I ordered the travel cases, they are perfect!! My favorite travel palette is Tarte Make Magic Happen, for me everything I need and one of the Sephora Eye Love or Ulta Everday Classic palettes, small and compact!

Great video! I need to take another look at my Maneater! My #1 holy grail travel all in one face & eye palette is the BH Cosmetics Run Wild by Tina Yong! It has 12 multicolor and finish eyeshadows, 2 large pan highlighters, 3 large pan blushes, one large pan bronzer, and a mirror all packaged in a sleek green gold and white leaf design travel friendly trifold. And only $24! I have never seen another come anywhere close!

My favourites include Urban Decay Naked Basics 2, Tarte In Bloom or Tartelette plus 3 you mentioned (Ghost, Glambition & the Rose palette). Not all at once. Ghost for the face, & 1-2 others.

For eye palettes I look for a good liner shade, a Taupe-ish matte that can help my eyebrows out if my brow pencil dies plus the usual skin tone overall lid shade, crease shade and inner corner or browbone highlight. I like a couple of shimmers but all matte is fine too.

Persona Identity is my go to travel palette. I can get cool and warm toned looks with one palette.

We have such similar taste in pallets. Gotta have the transition, the highlight, and the crease/liner. Lol. I recently discovered Lorac and their original pro pallet is very neutral, super slim packaging, and has everything you need. Love!!

I usually travel with a custom-made face-and-eye palette that I create to complement the capsule wardrobe I pack, that way I don't carry colors I will not use. But for and eye palette I can purchase and be thrilled with as is, my choice is "Born to Run" by Urban Decay. It's much bigger than the ones you showed, but since one of my go-to "day" looks is a barely-there satiny champagne lid with a colorful eyeliner and lots of mascara, I find that I can skip bringing color pencils with me and just use the brighter blue, green, and purple shadows to line my lash line. I love it because it has every single shade "family" and finish I could ask for, so I can create cool, warm, neutral, or colorful looks. If I have that palette, I never find myself wishing I had packed more of anything else for my eyes. The packaging is super sturdy and the large mirror is fantastic. Some of the shimmery shades double as face highlighters too!

Now, for a small palette to keep at my desk, if not the 9-pan that I've put together myself, I like the Smashbox Cover Shot in Matte (it works, for me, as eyebrow color, eyeliner, and eyeshadow) and to carry with me for a weekend away, the Smashbox Cover Shot in Minimalist. (My custom "desk" palette looks like a combination of both. It has 2 shimmers, 2 satins, and 5 mattes that include shades I can use to enhance my eyebrows and define my lash line.)

I agree with you on the CT Smokey palette...it's absolutely PERFECT for travel, and it always comes with me! Sometimes I might throw in an additional small eye palette or a CT cream shadow to go with it if I want to get fancy, but it's really all I need. As you mentioned, her bronzer and highlighter can easily be used on the eyes, and the bronzer and transition shades work well as brow powder too.

I bought the smashbox Cali contour and j love It. I created a whole face with it, even eye shadows. It will be great for my travels so I don't bring too many things.

Yes! The Maneater palette is the perfect travel companion. I frequently travel and it goes with me every time, whether I’m packing light or more generously. Thanks for sharing your other favorites. I will probably check a couple of them out!

Since lots of little pallets are missing brow bone color or darkest shades and sometimes depending on the season and mood i do want to travel with this type of palettes anyways, i decided to take these singles separately. Lately i am in love with custom inglot shadows and custom palettes, they are saw awesome due to unbreakable special magnet packaging and quality and color selection for basic colors is very nice. I am currently traveling with 3 CT quad palettes (pillow talk and 2 newest pop palettes ) for for warm and shimmer options, aether rose quartz palette for eyes, viseart petit pro and well hourglass sparkling eye shadow and 2 cream shadow singles. Yes, i am not minimalist when it comes to travel, but i go for 1-1.5 month. I plan to get two chanel quads - clair obscure and another one from spring collection still cant decide elemental or warm memories. I feel like clair obscure gives the most perfect neutral browns compare to any other ( i do have tarte maneater and like it too, i think it is a great option but i still miss real neutral browns and also going coconuts colorpop is nice alternative for budget version). I can add another 1-2 little palettes depending on the mood + brow bone single and some cream shadows and i am ready.

The whole time I was thinking about the Tartelette in Bloom Palette. I know it's a tiny bit bigger, and not as new. But I've always enjoyed it for travel. It has everything I would need for eye looks (maybe not everything I want😄), and I love it's sturdiness. I never have to worry about it being damaged. Although, tbh, I hardly ever check my makeup. I honestly can't remember the last time I didn't put my makeup in my carryon. Which, is even more reason to keep it compact. I'm going to replay this in 2 months as I pack for our family vacation. We shall see if it helps dampen down the little overpack gobblin that gets into my head 😉.

I love the Nars Voyageur palette in Suede, it’s so neat and perfect for travel.

I would recomend Sephoras Pocket palette with cold brown tones. It has everything and is very affordable.
