Thank you Chris for this insight. I’ve been rehearsing it in my living room getting ready to play tomorrow, and that really ties the pre set of the “rudder” or “pointing the gun” all together, and makes the transition from the waggle to the start of the backswing a seamless one. I think 90% of golfers don’t understand that being static (totally still) at any point from the beginning of your routine to when the club comes away is the mortal enemy of a fluid golf swing. I’ve been playing this game for 40 years, I’ve read over 100 books on the golf swing, and am a former teaching professional, I can tell you that without a doubt the information that you divulge on this channel is far and away the most effective I have ever come across. It has transformed my ball striking over the course of the last few months. I can’t thank you enough. You’re the man!

Great video Chris. I think the trigger is old school, but still effective at initiating motion. 🇨🇦💝👍

Watch the forward press of Bobby Jones. Keeps your motion starting from the lead side. I copy his move within my individual body movements & it works for me after I setup in the Hogan setup. The forward press also reduces tension in the beginning of the swing.

Thank you Chris! What i inhabbit now is like pointing the "gun" with my upper body and then the trigger is the little movement of the right hip/knee. From that i start the rotation with my lead hip. Works for me getting dynamic and not staring overtensed on the ball. So thx again. That helps! Please cover the topic of eye dominance (for me right/right with left foot)

Hey Chris great video! I was wondering if you could maybe cover a couple things in future videos. By watching old swings you can tell that as they reached the top of the backswing a slot movement happened. Some say it’s the combination of forearm rotation with the flexing of the right knee and other describe it as pulling the chain… Ken Venturi had that drastic drop as well as gary player and many others. I would also like to see your take on the vertical drop and the horizontal tuck of moe norman and lastly I would also like if you could share some ideas in order not to shrug the shoulder in the backswing and downswing as I believe that’s a leak of power many of us amateurs have. Thanks for your videos they are awesome🫡
