The voice acting of Niko is simply amazing. It's like it is not even his voice sometimes. It has so much depth, feels perfect for the role of a villain. Amazing.

Love the eye-twitching and exagerated breathing, it's so anime. In a funny way, the best part of the animation was down to the purely human element: those performances. This also explains why some of the shots at the end looked off-model, they were the ones that were fully AI-generated. The wonky walking seems to have been the same way in the original, haha.

For the walking scenes you guys have to get one of those little no bar treadmills, will REALLY make a world of difference

1:35 I thought for sure they handled the quivering eye with just a transform of some sort and animated it by hand during compositing and editing, it's actually really cool to see they actually just did the eye quiver for real and their ai tools actually picked it up. I thought that would be such a fine detail it would've been lost during the deflicker tool application.

No lie, the concept of this anime really intrigues me and I would love to see it get fleshed out as an actual show or maybe anime movie! If there are anime’s that deal with basketball and firefighting and so many other every day normal things turned exciting then I don’t see why this couldn’t be a thing!
