Health experts and broken-hearted family members along with former marijuana users themselves are all warning about the high potency of today's weed. The combination of a stronger product plus states legalizing the drug equals a dangerous situation. The highly concentrated marijuana is leading to greater levels of addiction and mental disorders.

Zach Plant starting using marijuana to ease the stress in his life, he told CBN News. At first he enjoyed getting high whenever he could.

"It just sounded like a great idea," he said, "I'd much rather be high than be sober."

Months later, Zach entered the hospital for cannabis-induced psychosis, a mental health disorder that can cause people to lose touch with reality, and experience hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia.

Just because you freak out on marijuana doesn't mean everyone does.

to be fair, weed potency is actually getting out of control. I don't care how much you smoke, there isn't any reason for weed to be this strong.

It's like they're trying to turn weed into crack

I think some can take it and some can't. I knew of a friend who started a long time ago, the 70s when I did. We had decent weed, avoided the dirt crap, try to stay with what was called Red and/or gold or hash. However, this friend kept on partying into his early 60s, wake and bake until he slept. Well, he had manic psychotic breakdown and was arrested 9 times. We were all shocked at this. He lost everything. Was it him smoking for the last years this very potent stuff? Not sure, but he was was acting very bad, to the point where I could not be near him any longer. He lost his business, friends who tried to help, (he was getting dangerous), his money from lawyers he had to pay and buying a nice house in the country. I quit years ago, just couldn't be bothered. I get high on the ocean air and water and a thankful life. I hope this guy will turn out OK.

The weed game is not the same. This weed is gmo and our government decided to legalize it. Think about that. Why does the enemy want to hop in all of a sudden?

As someone who has experience, you guys are on the track up their with "Video games make people violent" people.

Anybody who actually knows anything about such substances watch these and are baffled by the ignorance.

guys guys a serving size is a split pea, its best as a end of the day for calming stretching, breathing mobility exercises. its a amazing tool. People dont plan their lives nor discipline with a consistent holistic lifestyle.

Zach has a predisposition to psychosis, that exists without the marijuana. Marijuana can exacerbate mental health issues, but it can also save peoples lives from them. Let’s not pretend Zach’s irresponsibility coupled with predisposition isn’t the culprit here, not the marijuana itself.

I have been a stoner for 32 years and have never experienced any of these problems, I stopped smoking 4 months ago so I can get a cdl and to be honest I don't like being so called sober especially when I can't sleep at night I find it hard to believe that men's testimony, I used to smoke both flower and oil not one's felt any of what was told by the guy on this interview, once again, I only stopped because I want my cdl.

Just drive on Colfax denver Colorado, the taxes on marijuana are only making the governor and his friends rich. Look at the roads in Colorado are all ruined. Crimes are the highest any Coloradoans had ever seemed before. Meanwhile if you test positive for thc you can’t make more than $15hr

This is ridiculous, I bet that dude hasn't even smoked marijuana and you guys are just making stuff up. I been smoking since I was 17 and I never had any of this. We smoked and went swimming in the lake, dated girls, went to the club and lived life all while smoking weed. You keep continuing this REEFER MADNESS propaganda you're gonna turn a lot of people away from Christianity.

I really dont think weed can give you permanent psychosis, unless you're predisposed to it. I've been through drug induced psychosis, and dp/dr for a year. You can totally work through it 99% of the time.

Bruh, this whole video is so out of touch with reality. More dangerous than weed for sure.

I tried weed once 6 years ago, had a panic attack, then two small panics a month later. Went to the Dr and wow, those drugs they prescribed were worse than anything on this planet. Ruined my life. I'd like to argue that prescribed, meds are far deadlier and horrific to get off of, even not abused which is my case.
