Welcome to our tutorial on the new 'Create PR' feature in Visual Studio! In this video, we walk you through the process of creating a new branch based on your development branch, making changes, and committing them.

We demonstrate a simple rename that affects multiple files, and guide you through the process of staging and adding a commit message. We then show you how to push your changes and create a pull request without leaving Visual Studio.

The video also covers how to use the feature search to find and reference a description item when creating your PR. We show you how to view your pull request in the browser and leave feedback to help improve the feature.

Thanks for this feature. I suggest adding a video on Feature Search and a link in the description here.

How do I access the "Create PR" if I pushed using git bash or source tree?

From the top menu bar:
Git -> Azure DevOps -> New Pull Request

But needs to be enabled:
Tools > Options > Preview Features > Git Pull Request

But I dont have the option to actually enable it so oh well.

I still feel that Git actions within Visual Studio are still -- in the corner -- functionality. I prefer SourceTree for some actions and I use Azure Devops for others for the more -- full screen -- approach.
