I love that this acknowledges that the bad memories don't go away. They're still there and they still hurt, but getting to a more manageable place is a huge improvement and worth working towards.

My teacher talked privately with me bc I'm failing my whole maths class, Atleast a person who is not my therapist but still asks if everything is okay.Respect to my teacher ❤

This is EXACTLY what I went through over the course of nearly ten years of therapy. It's painful 💔 but at the end of the process, it will make you a better person. I am so grateful to my therapist. There are no words.

talking about my trauma really helped me and it changed my life, this method def saved my life, the problem is that the memories will never go away

This is such a perfect depiction of trauma therapy. I wish I had understood this earlier because I probably would have taken a different approach with my therapy.
