Nice review. Like the way Nubia is offering something a little different in a sea of similar phones. The ultrawide is impressive. The OV50E ultrawide is the same sensor Redmi is using as the main sensor on the Redmi k70/k70 pro. Excellent sensor for an ultrawide. Like the 18mm focal length also which lessens the gap between the main and ultrawide

Woah that might be the best back glass design on a phone ever. Starry night actually looks gorgeous on a phone. Only possible downside is the camera bump but that's a trade of I'm willing to make lol( I'm poor and can't afford either way 😂😂😂😂) HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE. BEST OF LUCK THIS YEAR

Happy New Year 2024 🥳.
I think Nubia should increase the focal length of the main and ultrawide to better compensate for that EIS crop or use gimbal for the main. It's probably better for stabilisation without a crop. Otherwise, good phone but for me until under display is on par with punch hole camera, I probably won't get it yet. But I'm tempted 😂

The camera module bulging out is a good thing, it tells you that the sensors need ample space because they're nice and big. Can we stop dumb aesthetic-fueled criticisms like this? It's getting ridiculous, people are complaining when a phone is large despite the massive screen it houses, when the camera module is too big despite the image quality you'll be getting out of a beast like that etc. There's trade-offs to actual good hardware and more often than not that means raw space. If you want the convenience of a tiny device be prepared for lower performance across all aspects.

The one complaint I have, all this aside, is the absence of a dedicated shutter button like on Xperias. Think about it, they're doing so many things right when it comes to photography, being the cheapest photography-centered phone out there with great sensors and a much better 35mm primary camera focal length but they lack that one tactile button you can use despite the phone's orientation and rotation.
That shutter button is the only reason that would keep me from getting something like this vs an Xperia, which I'm currently using. I can't imagine having a phone without a physical button like that after using my 5 III, it's so useful and nobody can really understand why until they use it and find themselves in situations that demand it. This is the only other phone with an unobstructed screen on the market (under-display front camera) and it comes with a huge battery on top of this, it's an insanely good and budget-friendly mobile phone for photographers.
