Nubia Z60 Ultra What makes this so good!?

The Nubia Z60 Ultra is a phone I wanted to test for so long! And now Nubia has hooked me up with the phone, so I can give it a go!

Honestly, I'd rather have a crappier front facing camera under the display than a hole on the screen. Specially as I can't even remember the last time I used the FFC anyway.

This main camera sensor combo has genuinely impressed me, it has an almost CCD like / Leica like quality, it has been since the Nokia Lumia 1020/1050 since a camera phone has impressed me in image output .. (pleasing image)

I bought this phone last week, since i'm not fond to selfie thing, don't care about front 12mp camera much, the 50mp back camera still beast and doing gaming pretty smooth to.

To be honest, for me all a 35mm lens would do is make me use the ultra wide camera more. On my current 24mm phone I use the 16v9 aspect ratio for shots which results in a cropped in shot, which I find annoying. 35mm would be the same situation, I'd find, yself just wanting to use UW all the time

If 35mm is so great, why do smartphone makers use 23mm equivalent for their main camera? (Looking at my new xiaomi 14 with some disappointment)

It's a pity that it doesn't switch lenses in videos when zoomed in/out.

I never liked the 23-24-25mm lens phones have these days. Thats why i always use the 2x on my S10+ to shoot every day photos. 52mm are really nice and with the adition of a gcam for every day and Pro mode for dedicated photography i can say that without a 52mm im naked

Btw, i think that you would make wonders with the new Xperia 1 VI. I'm tempted on getting it for myself because as i said early, i think its time to give my good ol s10+ a break

Looks like i am getting this phone. I love boxy phones. Unless i can get a better price on Samsung S23 Ultra. I just want a boxy phone with good screen and shoots good photos.

I read the device software are buggy and may have intermittent network issues.. is this true? I like the unique design but this is a deal breaker seeing i need it to be my daily drive for both work n personal... I use lots of mobile data..

super video sir, I've a question for you, i hesitate between Samsung s 24 ultra, Honor magic 6 pro, Xiaomi 14 ultra, and huawei pura 70 ultra, and i wanna use it for photography and astrophotography, moon ... ect, which phone do you recommend ? or should i wait for the new sonny xperia mark VI ? what do you think ?
