I tried to show as many of the main features of this phone in this review but I do ramble in certain segments so if you need to use the timestamps to skip along then that's no problems.

A massive thank you to ZTE/Nubia for sending me this sample out for review!
I really do appreciate it :)

My opinions in this video are my own, I am not being paid by ZTE/NUBIA , they have just sent out the samples for me to review which is what I like to do :)

Welcome back to another in-depth phone review! I'm looking at a phone that was released back in December 2023 and it's the ZTE NUBIA Z60 Ultra which I thought I would've been reviewing the "Leading Version" but instead it's just the standard one. I am a bit late to the party.

But this phone offers Flagship specs that's cheaper than most Flagships on the market, so what's the catch?
Well ZTE/Nubia had to cut some corners in this one but altogether they deliver an awesome phone for the asking price.

And since my channel is mostly about reviewing cheaper hardware, I wanted to look at some more powerful stuff but I feel I didn't do this video justice.
I skipped a lot of things and didn't commit to tearing it down. I wanted to keep it as it was.

So I hope this review will still be alright for what it is.
After this, back to cheapo stuff. I am done with sample stuff for now.

*I'm sorry I say zed instead of zee. It's just a letter at the end of the day but I say it a lot so this may annoy some folks and I apologize for not doing a teardown of this, I just wasn't confident in doing so.*

A massive thank you to Nubia for sending me this sample out for review!

I have to select "paid promotion" on YouTube as I received something of value from a third party.

This is the first review I have watched from you and it is quite good, I'm watching on a z60 ultra phone. As somebody who doesn't care about selfies I am quite happy to have a full screen, and grateful that a company makes a flagship phone with a full screen.

What I love about your phone reviews is that they all follow a pattern. You can really see how phone compare when you test them.

honestly really happy to see squared off phones, because it's really easy to clamp in and easy to hold

ZTE’s monstrous phones are great, though one problem are the software updates

Quite often I see that you ask what even is that expandable, virtual ram. Simple explanation is that it's a swap memory. It offloads some apps without turning them off, when you open the app it takes very short amount of time to open it and it starts from where you left off. So it's not a gimmick or fake thing. Hope you see this, cheers for the great vids. Can't wait for more cheapo trash phones

I'm glad you're reviewing it. I was looking for a decent review

Other than the non ltpo display this looks pretty much exactly what I'd be looking for in a new phone

Really appreciating the geekbench score comparison you've been doing the last few episodes as well :D

If you can spend a little bigger money for an flagship, this is a must be choice !!! Great model from ZTE

video is not switching between lenses when zooming in. On 35mm you cannot zoon out to uwide.
Leading Edition fixes this or adds this feature. Hopefully they bring this as an update.
Good thing is front cam is improved and main is also upgraded.

The phone looks cool! Even though you can see the front camera in the screen a lil bit, i could get used to it.

I'd love it if my phone had a under sceen camera. I never use the front camera on my phone, so it would suit me.

I can't believe how excited I was to see a proper close up of the Breezeair air conditioner unit! At last, you've reviewed a phone with proper zoom! All the best from the UK

I would recommend adding Zenless Zone Zero to the gaming test, it's from the creators of Genshin Impact and it's WAY more demanding

For a phone review, I guess you covered almost every aspect of the product. Not bad. I always find your video informative.

The boxing materials alone don't look like a flagship phone. I wouldn't be surprised to see this $200 or less here soon.

Ty for saying zed, aka the correct way to say it

Might be decent after all, but still... ZTE had issues before with backdoors, not sure if it's a good idea to trust them again after that
