Thank you so much. You broke it down Barney style and made it so much easier than anyone on YouTube.

First step: -8y = -x + 64
Step 2: Divide both sides by -8

When you divide all terms in both sides by -8 you will have your final answer.

I know that this was posted a long time ago, but THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS IS SO HELPFUL! IT'S SO MUCH EASIER NOW THANK YOU!

The simplify step was just to change 3/15 to 1/5 (reducing fractions to lowest terms). The other fraction -x/15 is the same as -1/15 times x so it is written as shown in the video so we can know the slope (m).

in standard form
- A : B is the slope,
C : B is the Y intercept ("b" in slope intercept form)/
That's not SO difficult to visualize or is it ?!

How do you jot down 1/5 on the graph for the y-intercept? Is it up 6?

How do you do it with fractions already in the equation?? E.g.
x/2 + y/3 = 1
