I really like the video concept. Being able to hear them within the context of a song and played with a kit is a huge plus. Of course, there is the variable of the mic being used but I still believe this is a great idea.

I have an HHX Evolution 16" thin crash, and MAN O MAN does it sound nice. It cuts better than almost any cymbal I have ever heard. It responds instantly, no overtone, but just a super fast CUT into the high end of the crash, its not sloppy, doesn't ring out and clog up the music, and the decay is just a bit slower that the impact of the crashing of it! Its loud, but not overly so. I don't have to whack it hard or with a lot of muscle to get it to perform. This of course is great for me, as I am not as heavy a hitter as many. I want to be able to smack it, have it do its thing, then get out of the way. OH, and the sound is clean and crisp, and very bright, almost like an AAX, but its also totally different too. LOVE the Evolution crash. Wish I could find out in the 18" size for a good price.

I have to say either AAX Studio or HHX Evolution. Both sound absolutely amazing to my ears

I have an 18 evolution crash and I love it. it is so versatile you can ride on it and play the bell too. I have a 16 hhx studio as well but the 18 evolution is just a joy to play.

I’ve got an old Pro series 18” medium crash I got for pretty cheap that rules. I like the HHX stage crash the best out of these

The others all sound great though, thats what you get from Sabian, all great sounding cymbals
