SISCODE is an EU research project consisting of 10 labs and makerspaces across Europe – ‘El Barri Circular’ being the pilot of Fab Lab Barcelona. Remix El Barrio, an initiative from El Barri Circular, looks to understand how we might reimagine food waste in our local neighbourhood of Poblenou. This highlighted recipe is one of nine featured during an exhibition of designers and makers transforming food waste into new biomaterials. At Fab Lab Barcelona, our research areas look to further explore the role of maker spaces in creating a more circular economy - thinking global, acting local.
👀Check our some of our related research and education programs below.
This project receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 under grant agreement No 788217.
