Looks like the smaller delta was too far back from the hold short marker and if the large delta had clearance they stay on center line and are trusting it is clear.

You got it all wrong. The pilot of the larger 350 saw that the smaller regional jet was dirty, so he simply had it DE tailed for them. As long as no one got hurt. That’s all that matters.

In another video, I was shown how the CRJ-900 was too far back from the line.
The hold short line, separates the active runway from the taxiing aircraft.
Back in January, a small airplane had gone beyond the hold short line onto the active runway,
and the Japan Airlines A350 landed onto of that small earthquake relief plane.
Good thing that the A350 wing did not clip the CRJ-900 lower down, like the engines.

The pilot of the A350 claimed that he was on the centerline of the taxiway. If that's true than either the taxiway lines are screwed up or the CRJ900 stopped short of it's proper hold point which meant it's tail was impeding the taxiway behind it. And it's impossible to see your wingtips from the cockpit in a A350, he likely assumed that if he was on the centerline he was ok.

If you hit the car in front of you then you are at fault, same with airplanes. The moving plane must make sure it has enough room for the wings

My bet is that the smaller jet didn't pull all the way up to the "hold" line for its assigned runway.

Maybe putting sensors in wing tips that would alarm simalr to the sensors we have in our cars.
