Mackarel is so good fried up with onions, garlic green onions and coriander and a little bit of curry powder . Serve over rice .

I love mackerel but haven't been able to find it in Australia for years. I was diagnosed with high cholesterol last week so today with my shopping I bought heaps of canned tuna, kippers, sardines, oysters and a kilogram of frozen salmon. My doc says I need to eat less meat and eat fish instead.
