I absolutely LOVE italian food! I'm from Uruguay, most of us have Italian ancestry, including me. My great grandma was born and raised italian and she taught me most recipes I know today. I've spent so much time with her, cooking, listening to her stories and it was simply amazing, the way her eyes shone every single time we spoke about Italia or she remembered something, pure love. She passed away but she still lives in my mind, the food that simply feels fresh and healthy everytime I eat it, it's soooo good. I'm now studying and learning Italian so I can speak and read about all of her memories she left behind.
