As a member of the Italian community I can say that in some scenarios, cutting pizza with scissors is accepted ( typically when you make pizza in a square form for parties )

Thats literally how my grandpa cuts his pizza because none of our pizza cutters work good enough XD

I live in Italy and some of my Italian friends also cut the pizza with scissors 🤔
It's a home thing I think, if you go in a restaurant/pizzeria they obviously don't do it
