Linear Actuator | Lift Mechanism Using Arduino, Micro Stepper Motor And Motor Driver L293D

This prototype shows how electric linear actuator works. This is simple lifting mechanism implemented using arduino.

Important Note:
The L293D driver used here is not suitable for Micro Stepper Motor. L293D is designed for driving DC motors. It heats up if Micro Stepper Motor is driven with it.
You can use A4988 Stepper Motor Driver for driving Micro Stepper Motor. Link for the same is given below.

Dear Krish Verma the video posted by you was very informative one for me. since I was working on a model train panto graph (working one for collecting overhead positive rail) to raise and lower the same I can incorporate this with some tinkering in the set up of raising and lowering. That motor is from a dvd player, i guess
