My dad is completely blind. He uses these glasses and absolutely loves them. I don’t believe they considered the blind when they designed these glasses, but they’re incredible! I hope they continue to develop programs or modes specifically tailored for the visually impaired. For instance, they could implement proximity warnings or make a sound whenever he faces north or encounters a door. There are so many possibilities!

I just got a pair and will be using them regularly; the ONE thing i absolutely HATE is the vertical format for video and images. I really wish there was an option to shoot in landscape, as it SHOULD be. The artificial "intelligence" part is also not that intelligent, but that applies to most AI crap anyways.

You can put a piece of black tape over the light and hold your finger over the other camera on the left to start a video after 2 seconds it will record.

When you’re in public, anyone is fair game for photos and videos the blinking light should not be. They need to remove that or allow you personally to shut that light off

How can I safely clean my frames? I wear makeup on a regular basis and there seems to be an accumulation of product on the nose piece. I'm wiping it but since I have matte frames, it seems there is still gunk on the frames and I don't want it to interfere with functionality.

My 3rd day with my Wayfarer transitional smart glasses.
My take: They look good. they're light, and the transition from clear to dark green is pretty impressive.
I've just done a whatsapp video call with a friend. The quality of the video wasn't that great, but it's a good start.
it's a bit of a disappointment recording in the vertical format only.
Overall, I'm having fun.

I am trying to figure out if I can listen to music while recording a video with these glasses. As an artist, I'd like to be able to listen to my playlist while drawing or sculpting etc, and taking video of my process to share later. Is there a way to do this?
