EVERYONE WHO'S HAVING TROUBLE WITH THIS PLEASE TRY THE FOLLOWING... make sure your slide is completely empty of any content boxes, I followed these steps and it worked after I removed all boxes! Like this comment so people can see it.

Awesome video! The video wouldn't play at first and just went to a dark screen. I realized that I had a space between the V and the slash in the revised link. Once I deleted the space, the video played perfectly! Thanks so much!

tq. also, I use ZillaTube to produce powerpoint videos, which I can easily insert it into my powerpoint for instant and offline replay anytime. Works great, google ZillaTube

Thank you for your help. It's a very easy and well presented. My problem is, that I got to the point that I have to open the property sheet, and there is nothing like that in my Power Point. So my question is: can it be that your video cannot work now 2016? new version of PP ? or is my version lacks it?

I don't understand why you are going through all of this messing about in PowerPoint 2103! All you need to do is ...Insert - Video - Online video - in the video field, copy the embed code for your YouTube video; then Enter. It's now in your slide and you get the video Tools tabs too. Sorry, but a very overworked solution to a simple problem.
