Physicists are obsessed with black holes, but we still don’t know what’s going on inside of them. One idea is that black holes do not truly exist, but instead they are big quantum objects that have been called fuzzballs or frozen stars. This idea has a big problem. Let’s take a look.

I derailed at 'just above the event horizon' . That would depend on the mass of the black hole, unless the density of the quantumwonderstuff would decrease radially when black hole grows. But I guess that is exactly the point about the density/site argument in the video.

This only confirms my belief that a BH probe made with a superconducting magnetic exterior is the only way we will understand BH's. Unfortunately the nearest BH is thousands of light years away so once we overcome lightspeed the BH probe is first on the books....but it would work for stars in the meantime....
