Bro I have 20+ years of experience and education combined in engineering, and my supervisor used to be an ARTS major. We are living in an age when clueless people invade key positions that are also responsible of making hiring decision and surrounds themselves with equally clueless peers to keep themselves safe, and proceed to act audaciously confident as if they are experts in their subject matter against people with true experience and knowledge. When people say that Rings of Power looks like a fanfic, I totally disagree. Because fans atleast know the original lore, in order to write a fanfic. But in the Rings of Power case is like a group of people that really hates Tolkien and know shit about the lore, just invented a lot of garbage.

I hate that Amazon has been insulting Lord of the Rings fans with this garbage. But I find it more egregious that they continue to disrespect Tolkien and his legacy. They pervert his characters and stories. And they villainize Tolkien and undermine the experiences he had that led to the creation of Middle-Earth to begin with.

It's unforgivable. It's insufferable. Amazon deserves to lose every dollar they put into this show.
