How to find what chords to use for a song

This is the one aspect that sets apart live performers and music composers, and trust me this ain't easy. Any avg japanese song will make you cry trynna find chords and whatnot. Keep grinding with your instrument and you'll know in time what level you're at in guessing scales and chords.

Its simply using the arpeggio of a scale. From there you can build a chord pretty easy. Learn your scales. Basic to advanced.

No, that's a completely confusing and erroneous way of thinking about it. Most simple songs are in one key. It's the key that you talk about not the scale even though they are related. You would say this song is in A minor or this song is in C etc
IN meaning in the key of....
