Finally someone who knows how to clearly explain the algorithmic logic of the fret board in an equally amazing presentation

This channel is so underrated. I’ve learned more from here than any other I’ve come across. You do a good job simplifying things and providing visuals of the fret board.

Mind-blowingly simple when you know! Cheers Sam

When brilliantly laid out in such a succinct fashion it simplifies the concept! Only stumbled a little because my brain is wired to stack points top to bottom rather than bottom to top and put the fret #'s on the left side vs right. Reminds me of my time in Australia where I had to learn to ALSO walk on the left side of a path besides driving on the left side of the road. Thanks again.

I swear I have watched 100 videos about minor chords and trying to be creative and stop noodling… this makes that and other things clear. this is my “ah ah” moment video that connected some dots.. thank you!!

This is simply unbelievable!!! After so many years I finally got it. The chord progression and the lack of logical and comprehensive access to the fretboard was always the biggest obstacle for me to continue learning and practicing the guitar and I switched to drums 20 years ago. Now I'm back to guitar and I'm so happy!!! Thank you sir!

I’ve been looking around for this kind of instruction for a while. There are a lot of theory videos on YT but, for whatever reason, this guy’s work just clicks for me.

Genius! I have only ever learnt guitar from tabs, and always was confused how to use scales to build my own songs. Went through various circle of fifths videos etc. But none explained the essence of the chord structure as well as this (I already knew the basic fingering patterns fro major and minor chords, but never understood how they would go together) beautiful! Thank you :)

You can also turn that D minor into a regular major chord to give it a harmonic tonality! I love it

Wow I’m really not the best at learning but you said things in ways I think I’ll remember and make sense to me. I plateaued hard at guitar after reaching theory but now years later trying again
