I was just about to loose my shit trying to put the flint in, and after 45mins of trying to push the spring and flint down together, I find out there’s a notch at the bottom that I can just open. Thank you for saving me from this hell

Thank you very much! I tried to fill it (without bleeding and without success) and threw it away this afternoon.
I just dug it out and found your video right away that was exactly what I needed!! New flint has it working fine so I'll tackle the uncomfortable task of filling the fuel when the need places demand.

Thanks! I didn't realize that, to actually get the flint in, you had to first unscrew the end part. Also, thanks for the orientation tip!

Thank you bro. I knew how to refill the butane but not how to replace the flint. I harvested one from a dead Bic and it works perfect. It seems like Bics (which aren't easily refillable) have enough flint to last the lifetime of ten lighters, and Clippers flints last two refills lol. Value for money though Clippers are the king, and there's no shortage of dead Bics to take flints from.

I always wondered what that notch at the bottom was for. I recently heard you can change the flint and had to look into it. Now I just need some flint, and my collection of dead lighters will be back in the game. Thanks man 😎

great video little brother. Just ordered flints today for my clippers. I found clipper lighters on clearance at walmart 2 for .56 cents. as far as i know this is the only disposable lighter you can refill and also change the flint. Diggin that table cloth too. God bless you
