I’m no scientist but it would seem to me that when an historical tale is passed down through spoken or written word and then you find an area that matches exactly that also has relatable artifacts, I believe that the burden of proof shifts. I believe that it is up to skeptics to DISPROVE the claim.

Unfortunately sites picked for tourists doesn’t always apply to actual history, do they? The Acaba Red Sea makes more sense since Sinai Peninsula was under Egyptian control, the escape was into Midian, northwestern Saudi Arabia. So choosing Sea of Reeds is only an effort to minimize the miracle one meter versus 1500 meter deep, isn’t it? But the Bible is very clear, the deeps, not the shallows.

It's possible. If you situate Moses in a more precise time frame, maybe it's true. The time frame is very confusing, but there is only one reference that it's real. Moses escaped from Pi Ramses City .. That City didn't exist until the mid-12th century B.C. That is in the middle of the Troy war, the Odyssey, the invasion of the "people of the sea" the War between Egypt and the Hittites. When the war was over, a Group of Jews who took sides with the Hittites ran away from Pi Ramses because the Egyptians were looking for revenge..In the middle of that, something really unusual called "The late age bronze crisis" started, in which very strange climatological events happened. For 50 Years, the region was hammered by Hurricanes, rain and extreme weather that might explain the event, I have already been in four hurricanes, and have seen in Florida the Atlantic Ocean retreat hundreds of meters from the Shore, and in few Hours go up 10 or 20 meters up in a form of a massive Hurricane..So, I think that is possible..If you put Moses in Pi Ramses in Mid 12th Century, instead of 15th Century B.C. there is a bíg chance, that what the Old testament say, it's true..
