Also, according to Plato, there were huge mountains to the North of the city. Well directly to the north of the Eye of the Sahara there is a massive mountain chain called the Atlas mountains. No one knows who really named that mountain chain because there are no records documenting who named them. We just know that the name is older than ancient Rome and ancient Greece. But what is weird is how an ancient civilisation named those mountains the Atlas mountains and they so happen to be to the north of the Eye of the Sahara.

For those not educated in classical Greek history, a stadia, which is the root word for stadium, is 300 feet, 100 yards like a foot ball field. Those measurements match the Richat structure/Eye of the Sahara almost perfectly if you account for 12, 000 years worth of erosion

It literally just hit me that Atlantis is almost always depicted as having distinctly Greek or Roman architecture despite being 9000 years before Plato according to the ancient Egyptians. There is no way in hell it would resemble a Greek city structure. Is that just the best thing humans can imagine for the time period when we hear it described as a "Advanced civilization"?

Jimmy from Bright Insight has done a lot of research on this as well. I believe it's at least where part of Atlantis was. I think Atlantis was a huge land mass, and the eye of the Sahara / Richat structure was where Poseidon's palace sat amongst royal and elite families. I loooove this subject. They also say the Hesperides gardens were located on the now- Cape Verde Isles, according to some of the oldest maps that I could find suggested. They were called the Hesperide and the Gorgon Isles. Medusa was a Gorgon. It's all so fascinating
