As of March 2023, the @NintendoAmerica 3DS and Wii U eShop digital stores will no longer be available. This means you will not be able to purchase any new digital titles. This isn't surprising news but it is another step towards the end of a unique era in gaming. Please subscribe and LIKE this video, it really helps out the channel.

What are you thoughts on the 3DS and Wii U eShop shutting down? Do you still play on those consoles or have you moved on to the Switch or something else?

Every good thing comes to an end at some point; that is the sad way of life. But looking on the bright side; at least the general servers are still gonna be online so that's a huge plus!

The 2DS was the first system I bought when I finally had a tiny bit of expendable income and started living on my own.
It opened up doors to games that became my all time favourites and gave me escapism that I needed so much at the time.
This system will always have such a special meaning to me.

We love the 3DS and Wii U! I have been picking up a lot of eShop titles lately and focusing on collecting the remaining physical 3DS and Wii U games that I need before they skyrocket in price - Adam

Fire Emblem Fates, Monster Hunter Generations, and Pokemon gen 6 are games that mean so much to me and I can honestly say they changed me as a person, as cliche as it sounds or whatever lmao. These games helped me through some particularly tough times in my life and it's sad to see this era come to an end :(

My most valuable memory with my 2ds when I 1st got it in 2019 came pre installed with new super Mario bros 2 and going on the eshop getting tons of demos and free games my favorite is arcade badge and pokemon rumble world I'm happy with the games I've bought on the eshop I knew something like this was gonna happen but hey at least we'll never forget the 3ds and wii u

I only Downloaded 2 games from the Eshop(3DS)

1: CRUSH 3D(Back in 2012)
2: Sonic Lost World(Back in 2013)

Both of them were demo versions.

3ds/Wii U definitely the most unique I loved this era. I was still in elementary school when the 3ds came out in 2011. I remember taking it on field trips and playing mk7 with my friends. I have over 400 miis in mii plaza because I took it everywhere and everyone had one. Mii verse was awesome as back then I didn’t have a smart phone and I could only interact virtually with friends on my little hand held.

3DS is one of my most memorable console because I remember that when I was in college, I have a part time job at night as a cashier and I save my money just to buy and brand new 3DS console. 3DS is my first console that I bought using my own hardwork money :), It feels great and happy.

Ray let me mod your 2DS or teach you how to mod it so all those that bought one because of your videos have the ability to download games onto the 2DS in the future.

I was just young enough to not be interested in the eShop when me and my family had a Wii U. In the last couple months when I got fascinated in Nintendo stuff, it made me sad that I didn’t take advantage of our Wii U
It also was sold when we moved about 3 years ago :(
