I remember getting a wii in 2008 for my birthday and playing baseball and boxing non-stop, remembering my mom coming in my room at like 2am to me shouting cause I had just made pro in boxing, next day (or later that day) she took me to Gamestop and I bought mario kart wii, an extra controller, and 2 wheels with my bday money and inviting cousins over to race and pulling another all nighter, good memories

I got the Family Version Wii in 2010 and I still remember that one moment everyone in my family was sitting on the couch playing New Super Mario Bros.

My grandpa surprised me with a wii after I had surgery on both of my feet and I was in a wheelchair during the recovery. It was awesome being able to play games with the wii remotes with my next door neighbor Diego. I actually used the Wii fit balance board with my physical therapist when I learned to walk and stand again.

I remember opening one of these for Christmas in 2009 and being so excited. I was 9 years old and my parents didn’t have much money, but they knew we would love it. Best Christmas to this day. This video almost made me cry 🥹
