Bacon Wrapped Chicken with Cheese

There are a few alterations to the recipe. In example, you can add extra spices if you wish. A welcomed addition might be some onion powder, paprika, etc. You can add as much or as little of each spice as you like.

Use your favourite brand of bacon, depending on how much fat you want and boneless skinless chicken breasts. The same applies to the cheese. I use old sharp cheddar, but it depends on your choice.

I just made it this evening for my family and they really enjoyed it. Lovely mixture of flavours. After cooking the pieces (I used chicken cutlets cut into strips) for 40 minutes, I broiled them for 6 minutes so that the bacon was nice and crispy. I shut off the oven and then put the provolone cheese on top until it melted. Thanks!

You may have already answered this, but how much salt being that the bacon is salty? Also, do you have to bake the chicken a little first before you wrap it in bacon? Just don’t want the bacon to burn. Thanks
