I’m not a plant person. I watched mostly because I find you very interesting and informative Kay. I really admire your dedication to your plant babies. It’s truly a gift to have this type of hobby. It’s a form of self care that can be so rewarding. Thanks for sharing.

Great tour, Kay. Although I prefer candles over plants/flowers, that peace lily was EVERYTHING! And how adorable was that Skill Share commercial! Tfs and hope you and your family are well!

Thanks for the tour Kay. Houseplants bring so much joy during long New England winters.
Purple oxalis is a favorite of mine. They go dormant for sure. I put mine in a paper bag down cellar and pull it out late March and start watering. It's a fun plant to share and loves being outside in the summer(filtered sun) The rhizomes will multiply like crazy.

Watching your lovely tour and had to make a comment after seeing your zz plant despair. I went through trauma and drama with my zz for over a year. Same with my cebu blue pothos. They did nothing no matter what I did until my aunt said I should try coffee. That did the trick. The cebu blue grows like crazy and the zz has many new shoots. I also had to reduce the amount of watering of the zz to once every two weeks. For the coffee, I just set aside about an 1/8 of a cup of my brewed coffee for watering. Or now I sometimes will take the filter with grounds in it and soak in a small glass of water and use that for my plants. It really works and I saw growth within two to three weeks from when I started. Also, so sad to see your Hoya Lisa doing badly. I hope you can bring her back. I bought one soon after you got yours. So far so good. Fingers crossed! 🪴

I love this plant tour! I’ll probably watch again cause combined with your voice, fun relaxation!!!! Btw…. Crazy plant guy taught me about ficus elasticas. Make sure soil is airy. Let it dry 100% before watering. Put it close to south or west windows. Fertilize for bigger leaves. I use liqui-dirt and mine gave me big leaves. Good luck!

Thanks for the plant tour! Your plants are very pretty and so are their pots! Especially love your peace lily and micans. I saw a peduncle on your crimson queen so hopefully she’ll flower for you.

This was a fun video! Thanks so much for sharing your plants with us, Kay! I need to watch it again and take notes! You gave a lot of very helpful information and I am inspired to add a few more plants and improve their environment! Thanks Kay!!

I'm fortunate that I have a cat who loves wheatgrass but has zero interest in my houseplants. I still keep cat friendly ones around anyway. Also you made a real commercial again! I showed it to the student working with me tonight and she loved it.

Omg the reporting part had me rolling! 🤣 Great segue into the ad. The "report" autocorrect is the absolute worst!

Edit: A little late to this video, but your ficus needs more sun. That looks like a low light area where you have it. Also, don't miss a watering cause they will drop leaves if you let it dry out for too long. I have yet to kill a ficus and I've had about a handful of them for the past 4 years or so.

Love your plants and how much passion you communicate! Also, your bathroom wallpaper is so fabulous. The commercial was so fun! (Your talents don’t stop!)It’s cool to know that the Planterina plants are doing well! Was wondering how they fare. I don’t trust plants that are mailed but I adore Planterina so it’s great to know that they are healthy!

I have had a few plants over the years and have not had the best luck because I just don't know how to care for them, and I worry about toxicity to my dogs. I have been looking to learn more about houseplants so that I can give it another try and I'm so glad you shared about Skillshare!! Thank you!

I have a purple oxalis, same as yours. Have it in an east window in the bathroom. They do go dormant, if it's putting out growth water it. Mine is blooming now and has a bunch of new growth. I'm in Pa. so it's cold here. Had a white one for about 20 years, then it fizzled out. Your plants are beautiful.
