I just found your channel today, I subbed 😊I don’t know if you know this, but prayer plants go dormant sometimes, so I am so glad you didn’t trash it, so I’m sure you will be happy with it when it decides to bush out again 😊

Beautiful collection! I can totally relate to you with the neon philo! One of my most favorite and I’ve propagated pretty much every vining plant I have, except that one lol. I don’t have the heart to cut mine either. Even tho it could help it grow faster. I probably won’t ever tho haha

Hang on... Wait... 8:20 you say that you shouldn't trim back a Hoya... Why not? How else are you meant to get it to bush?
As long as you cut back to a node and keep it clean you should be good. Just don't trim everything back at once.

Coir is pronounced "Kwah".
And the stuff that Ikea sells its plants in is trash. I don't think I have ever kept a plant in Ikea potting medium because it has zero resources for plants. This is how they get away with selling that shitty liquid plant fertiliser.

Monsteras love moss poles.
My Gran (Now long since dead) had one in the 80s and it was HUGE... She had to use a moss pole and an actual wooden stake, 2" thick as a support... And her pot was MASSIVE. At least 30" wide.
You could not move it without a crane or something...

Watering.... Why are you filtering your water?
DON'T unless the water in your area is REALLY bad.
The best thing you can do, if you can, is to harvest rain water. Rain water is full of trace metals and other things your plants need.
If you are putting fertiliser in every time you may be over doing it.
