Run Any Game in Windowed Mode using DXWND

Have you ever tried to run a game in windowed mode but you could not find any option to do so? Do not worry. You can easily run any game in windowed mode using "DxWnd". In this video I show you how to use DxWnd and run any game in windowed mode in Windows 11.

Thank you for making a straightforward tutorial that just simply works. I have the worst luck with issues in life and then I'll go to watch a video and within the first 2-5 seconds I'm stumped because something in the video absolutely doesn't correlate with my reality. Like for example I almost got stumped here because my DXWnd looks very different for no explainable reasonable reason. It just does. Luckily enough of it matched up with yours to follow your instructions but that's typically violently rare.

I've been trying to figure out how to get the games Journeyman Project 3 and Populous The Beginning to load with this in window mode, but they seem to be a bit complicated, your suggestion of running it in Admin did the trick though. ^_^

Doesn't work for the game 'Out Of Order' (an old point and click) - but if you can figure out how to run that game in windowed mode I'd be very interested to see how it's possible.

I found some games don't seem to allow you to move the cursor outside of the game when launched. Like Prototype, but it works for the most part. Even solved the blackscreen issue I was having on load in windows 10.

I had a problem with the fact that it still did not open in a window, but apparently it was a problem either in running without an administrator, or due to the fact that in the "paths" I did not clone the line from the "path" into the "launcher"

Now it works
