** Not guaranteed to work for ALL games! **

======= Options =======
1.) Alt + Enter

2.) Backspace

3.) F12

4.) In-game options

5.) 1, 2, or 3 on the numb-pad

6.) Create a shortcut, go to PROPERTIES, and after the TARGET put a space after the speech marks (") type:
-w
-window
-windowmode

7.) Download DxWnd (No Installation)

(I found more alternatives, so #2 nor #3 are demonstrated in the video)

I been searching multiple sites online and forums to find multiple methods to make any or most full screen games play as windowed mode but here's a website that basically summarizes every possible way to force full screen games to windowed mode. I hope this helps you guys.

EDIT (October 21st, 2017): I added "SOME" to the title since apparently it was pissing people off. I had intentions to help and I said in the description at the top AND in the video that these methods don't work for ALL games. It took me a long time to research multiple ways to window mode full screen games so i thought a helpful simple video would be nice but I'm getting so much shit for these methods not working. Like I know it's not gonna work for all games. I don't own or even heard of the games that YOU own. Again, this works for SOME games. I can't test these methods on every game ever invented. I just wanted to help so calm down already and stop insulting me. Yes I'm butt-hurt since I'm annoyed with the insulting comments already.

I never said used the default settings, you can clearly see how I mess with the settings and suggest YOU mess with them as well since each game is completely different. This is not guaranteed to work with ALL and EVERY single game in existence. It's just a video to show you have options to TRY. It might not work with newer games like FNAF 6 and I been trying to find other solutions as well.

for fnaf 1 you can also use the /NOF parameter to get it in windowed mode, for the rest of the games until fnaf 6, you can press the windows key + the down arrow to play them on windowed mode

Thank you!! Using DXWnd WORKED for Sister Location. Using the mouse to switch between multiple windows didn't work too well, however. Alt + Tab was required, and those interactions were limited, but it was all enough to respond to my twitch viewers via popout chat, and then switch tabs to play the game. Doing that disrupted the audio, as it only was heard when the game window was selected but that was fine and to be expected. The only time I could freely move the mouse like normal was at "game over" screens.

But without seeing your video, I never would have been able to stream this game, so many many thanks to you!!

"ctrl + win + down-arrow" works for fnaf world. to go back to fullscreen just relaunch the game

For some reason, the trick to fix fnaf worlds resolution does not work in modern versions of dxwnd anymore. Do you have any advice? would really love to play while watching youtube, but it's kind of pointless when the save button is off screen lol. All my fiddling with resolution settings only seems to make the problem worse!

Edit: Found the solution in the dxwnd discusion forums. TO quote it, since links are banned by default on youtube:
d3d9 hooking (in the DirectX tab, under Renderer)
Lock win coordinates (Anchored window in video settings does this)
fixed resolution of 1024 x 768 (this can be customized as long as its reasonable)

Thank you so much! :D Now I can do Spoopy Sunday on my twitch stream like i wanted to. I found the DxWnd and downloaded it and now I can play Fnaf while being able to still see the chat and follow things :P Thank you so much! :D

With steam games you can right click the game (in steam), select "properties", select "set launch options" and type "-windowed".

The last option worked for, for the most part. But at least fnaf world is finally windowed! Thank you for your help!

I tried that in formula 1 to 6 but didn't happened..
I try on Outrun 2006 coast 2 Coast but in properties on shortout have no (") at end...

i want to input or capture on obs..
