Harley Live Wire Trees Tesla 3

For the 1st time ever, the all electric Harley Livewire takes on the Tesla Model 3 Performance at the Texas Motorplex. The tree doesn't lie...and neither does the finish line.

When I test rode the Livewire the acceleration was amazing! Not only that, but the handling through the curves was awesome as well. I am not an early adopter, but could see myself owning an EV once they get to competitive pricing with the ICE bikes. I may start with an EV Mountain Bicycle.

Not a great video. Hard to see, but looks like the bike launched first. Also looks like the Tesla had passed it by the end, but the video cuts off. Still, nice launch by the Harley.

Was the Tesla at or close to 100% SOC, and was it a performance model 3..??

Why'd you cut the video before showing showing the times? From my perspective the Tesla started late but gained ground and won. Oh, and it's LiveWire, not Live Wire.

Survival from errors when stunting on vehicle better on model 3 than the bike. To each their own.

Also I'm googling articles that say the Harley live wire does 0 to 60 in 3 secs. That's pretty much the same as a 95% soc performance model 3.

The Harley does 0-60 faster then the Model 3 performance but has a 130 top on the Harly vs 162 on the Model 3. That would likely explain how the Harley seem to lose ground at the end. Harley being conservative with the performance on the Livewire especially on the top end. It should easily top 130 mph. Likely software limited by Harley.

The Tesla weighs SO much more.. requires a lot more force to accelerate than the bike. It’s like being surprised a that you can throw a rock further than a bowling ball.. not very one-to-one
