I have the now discontinued
Kershaw Chive Rainbow 1600VIB and love it! The colors are attractive and eye-catching. Very useful everyday knife! Its small size fits nicely in my shorts pocket in the summer.

I think those thumb studs are meant more to be a blade stop than they are a thumb stud.

Unless you remove the torsion bar like cutlerylover did in one of his videos. Then, it seems, you need to use those blade stops as thumb studs in order to open the knife. LOL

It’s funny to me that not one reviewer of the Kershaw chive, scallion or leek knows that those are blade stops not thumb studs for opening the knife. Read your literature people😆
