For those of you who think BAHCO is a small and odd and not trust worthy brand.
What you call a Crescent wrench got its shape and form by Swedish inventor J P Johansson (not to mistake for C E Johansson, the guy with the gauge blocks). Got mass produced by BAHCO 1910-ish. The plumber wrench as we know it originated from Johansson/BAHCO. So BAHCO was there from the start.

This is MrSubaru's way of spiting Snap-on for not sponsoring his content lol

I'm ok with this!

Williams Tool Co is snap-on’s industrial brand. Same tools, no truck, much lower price.

This is a perfect candidate to put a 3/8” drive into it!

The same is true for the Bahco 3/8 and 1/2 ratchets too. I have them all, and I have to say I prefer the handle on the Bahco to the skinny Snap on comfort grip. So far they have performed impeccably for 18 months and are a fractiom of the Snap on UK price!

For all Americans; Bahco is a premium brand in Europe (part of the tools previously marketed as Sandvik.
Sandvik came to own the Bahco brand at some point - came to own a bunch of other famous tool brands (like E.A. Berg) as well, which - from that point onward - were all branded as Bahco).
To correct a bunch of information on the internet; Snap-on did not "buy Sandvik". They bought "Sandvik Saws & Tools" - just their tools division. Sandvik is still very much alive as a company)

Fun facts:

In the Netherlands, an adjustable wrench is often called a 'Bahco'.
They were the first ones to introduce a quality version of those here (I have some from the 1970s/80s that are still in perfect shape)
They were made from 'Swedish steel', a certain steel & process that was originally developed for making fish hooks. Later they decided to make tools out of it as well, considering the steel's strength and corrosion resistance.
But that's where the Bahco (and previously Sandvik) logo with the fish & hook comes from.
The Fish+hook logo was originally only used for tools that were made with that special fish hook steel. As a sign of quality (I still have 2 Sandvik hand saws with that logo. 1 bastard file too. All amazing).
Currently, it seems like everything is branded with that logo, regardless of the material.
Still one of the better consumer tool brands, though)

I work on heavy equipment for a living. I have a mix of harbor freight, craftsman, wright, proto, and trucraft. Works the same as a snap on and most of my tools were hand me downs from my grandfather and dad. They all make me money just the same and rarely ever break anything

Awesome find! I have one Snap-On tool, it's an extra long 14mm spanner, I bought it to replace the one I lost from my Mastercraft (Canadian Tire brand) set. The best part is I now have one wrench that cost more than the entire rest of the set, 8mm-21mm. 😂🙃

That big bulky handle defeats one of the reasons you reach for a quarter drive ratchet. Tight and limited swing situations. Comfort of the handle takes a backseat to being able to maneuver.

Is made in my city, made in the old ACESA factory that Bahco bought in the 90s. In the usa made the only part made there is only the forging, the internals are all the same for all SNA group of companies

I really like comfort grips, but not on a tiny ratchet. I wish the handle was slim.

I immediately went to Amazon, and found tons of Bahco tools. Some that I'd be buying. I love tools...and one day I'd learn how to use them.

I actually work for the Bahco group welding bandsaw. There is an adjustable wrench, that has a reversible sliding jaw. One side is flat and the other is groved like a pipe wrench. It work great.

This lineup must've been in the market close to a decade now. Caused a bit of a stir over at GarageJournal back in the day.

Most of my tools are Bahco, they're excellent. As a plumber, my adjustable wrenches get a lot of use and abuse. They're made in Sweden and the steel is up to the standard you would expect from that country.

Stuff like this is a miracle to see for people building a good collection that'll last on a budget

I don't subscribe to very many videos but you've got me hooked on that. I'm a HVAC guy not a mechanic but this new equipment we have to use quarter inch Drive ratchets all the time and either they get stuck teeth wear out or we lose them in attic insulation! You haven't been pissed off yet until you lose $100 ratchet in attic insulation🤬
