Thank you for letting us join you on this journey. From what you have shared so far, I think it's going to turn out perfect

Just a thought.... Have you looked at the various drywall tools to help you fill and apply the resins? A wide drywall knife can create a really smooth surface over a large area, saving sanding and filling time afterwards. The corner trowels can apply a bead of compound evenly from inside a joint, as it does with drywall mud in corners. Then, create a curved drywall knife to put the inside radius on and you can be done in quite a bit less time.

If you need a word of encouragement, your comment feed.. it is so full of positive and supportive words from people all over the world - something rare on a YouTube channel! You are just amazing and this is the channel I almost have to drop everything to watch each time a new video pops up. So cool watching this build take shape, and seeing just how much energy and effort goes into each stage and video!

I love how this channel is growing. 35 episodes and 45K subscribers. Maybe you can do the behind-the-scenes episode on how to build a YouTube channel... It is a great project. As somebody who has worked on boats, I know how much work it takes to restore a boat, especially one that big. I hope you will be able to do that full-time and support the project from your channel. Looking forward to more great content.

I was introduced to your channel by Magic Carpet II rebuild of a Cape George 36 - my interest in the Cape George 36 came from following the Golden Globe Race and entrant Kirsten N. who is racing a Cape George 36 called Minnihaha in the race. What a totally cool project you have on your hands I think she will make a fantastic cruising boat. I have sailed for over fifty years in New Zealand mainly racing. I wish you the best in what is a massive project.

Cheering you on from afar! Baby steps are going to lead to an amazing finish. I can’t wait to see the journey you’re on! Thanks for sharing. Swony

Gotta luv the small Joy's of progress.... she's looking more like a boat puzzle than a "hull" and the 4 legged supervisor, exmentor and wife, plus we in the fan club are certainly impressed!!!
The down side is that now I'm obsessed with finding an old racing (hull) to expand life on the water, water bilges when needed, and years of tinkering with another version of self sufficiency that involves old and new techniques, lol.
Got the fever and the only cure is salt water therapy!
