Easy fix! 👍😁

Ive always used a flat file n ruff'd up the prop shaft & motor shaft. Then i use a couple of drops of blue locktite to assemble both together. But while the prop is off, always ck the motor mount screws. Better safe than sorry 🤷.

Way back when the valiant & green x were new, there was a motor mount issue.

Same as the valiant.the dang white silicone the Factory uses doesn't hold.
Most of the time if you hear that vibration its the motor mount.
Hope you get it fixed man!

Lmao I've got an old carbon cub which I put the motor and speed control from a v900 in...did exactly the same thing.. pit it back on with cocktail sticks and gorilla glue clear. 😉 great work mate 👍

Mine did the exact thing but because of your video I checked the motor mount screws and they were loose. I coated the threads with a dab of gorilla glue and tightened it back. So far so good

I always get nervous when I hear loud vibrations on throttle I’m always thinking something gonna happen like in this video. And you can fix that I like using hot glue gun with gorilla glue sticks works well. 👍👍👍👍

Buddy, this is why you need to balance the prop. And also make sure the prop is damaged before you fly

This happened to my plane today. I cut another plane in half chasing a streamer that it was towing and had some damage. I thought I fixed it all. About half dozen flights later it was making a weird noise, same thing yours just did. I thought it might be aileron flutter since I repaired an aileron that got damaged with the previous collision with airplane and ground. I landed three times and pushed and pulled on everything and even changed the prop, then the motor just fell off! It definitely looks fixable though. Should be able to epoxy the rods back in place and then epoxy the motor mount back in place.

I’ve heard of people having this happen to their Valiants stock.

So sorry that this happened, but I do believe the cause was a unbalanced prop, if it’s unbalanced you will be able to hear it, witch it sounded fine when you were at low throttle but when you accelerated you could hear it. basically it was vibrating so much that it ripped the motor mount off, so cause would be unbalanced prop

Oh, sorry to see that. Maybe prop came loose...due to being out of balance. Eflite planes are good planes in a general sense. But, they are hit and miss on prop balance. Sounded like yours was out of balance. But, that my opinion. I have the night Timber X version. I kinda look at it this way. All planes have an expiration date. But, the ones I truly enjoy, I get a second for back up. I get it if you don't have the funds for it. Just my thoughts on a fun plane I really like to take to the field and fly regular. Also, If you are really tired of yours... I also highly recommend the PNP Bighorn from BuddyRC. The cost is about the same as your Timber, but it is a balsa plane that can be easily assembled. You have to glue the tail, but it's a fantastic model that I think you would like. You could transfer your receiver from your Timber to it and be flying in no time. I feel like that Bighorn would suit your flying style and it is terrific flying 3D and you can also tame the rates down to your liking as well. Big plus for it- the lipo is a top loader. Whatever you decide to do, you can't go wrong. The Eflite Timber X is still a nice plane. I wish you luck. 👍

I've had this happen a few times before. I think you can glue the nose back on and get some more flights out of it. Sounds like your getting tired of fixing it lol 😆

I don't think some of these have tight motor screws. Worse is that there's no way to access it properly without cutting up the nose. Mine is starting to make a similar noise and after watching this I'm getting nervous 😅
