This is great. No loyalty given, but loyalty expected. Also, companies expect workers to act like owners but give them no buy-in.

I love the empathy that Simon approached everything with. Society sees a phenomenon and wants to lay blame. Some sees that same phenomenon and asked questions and shows understanding. Thank you, Simon.

This is such a great take. When I try to explain this to people in my generation (Gen X) they think I am off the mark. I Love how these next generations are taking control of their own destiny.

I like this guy. He succinctly explains the relationship young people have with corporations. It's interesting though, cause he will also turn around and critique young people as well for their own bad habits. This guy generally has a balanced take on the workforce.

You know l have bern telling this last 4-5 years. I am so happy a person like you acknowledge what hapoened than. I was one of them şn 2000 l ve lost my job. Suddenly l found my self sitting by the see with so many people like me “frozen” . I did not have a kid than. But l know so many people devoted themselves to their job. Those kids did not have chance to spend much time with patents. They were told this was the right attitude, than saw everything was false. Now companies spending dollars gor employee engagement, employee satisfaction in old ways… this is not going to work. Both parties need to change.

The immense stupidity of corporations not giving a damn about its people has hurt American businesses to a degree I don't think we can assess yet. Sinek is spot on that it's a broken capitalism.

People forget that employment is like any other relationship. It thrives on mutual respect and communication. If you don’t respect your employees and treat them with dignity they have no reason to be loyal.
