Yoveytte, I Watch your video yesterday on brush cleaning with oven cleaner. I am very very hard on brushes, I've had brushes that were extremely hard, that I was about to throw them away. I got a big freezer bag last night, Put all my old brushes in the bag. With a few sprays of oven cleaner, this morning I put on my rubber gloves, Washed and rinsed them out thoroughly, my goodness, they are like new.

Hi Yovette. How did you know yesterday I found couple of my brushes I normally wash my brushes out with pure baby oil. I followed a tip from Marion Dutton on cleaning oil brushes. I don't think all the paint is really coming out of them. I will have to go through all my brushes with easy off to make sure they are good and clean. One thing I did notice is that when you were showing your container of baby oil with the paint sediment on the bottom, why don't you put a zip lock bag in your container then pour the baby oil in. This way you can just dump out the (still good) baby oil in another container, remove the zip lock bag with the paint sediment in and throw that away. Put a new bag in and pour the baby oil back in that. You can reuse the baby oil over and over again and your container always stays clean due to the zip lock bag catching all the paint sediment.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful hints and tips. Always look forward to watching your videos.

Take care Yovette and have a great day.

You know. I decided to paint with acrylic because the clean up is quick and easy. I never thought that cleaning oil paint would be as easy as the way you showed it. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Now I will start investing in oil paint and brushes and clean my brushes the way you did. This is so awesome.

Thank you for the tip! I was about to chuck my old brushes out I’ve only done three brushes now need more to go since I fell over at the start of the year and broke my ligament in my ankle so i wasn’t able to go back and clean them! Lifesaving tip 😊

Another stellar tip from my wonderful and brilliant friend. I used this for quite some time after your initial video. But using that baby oil as last step for the large landscape brushes is a life, and money saver. Thank you for sharing.

Oil removes oil, even hardened oil. Use safflower oil, even Canola Oil. No fumes or chemicals. It'll soften. Wipe on old towel. Then wash with Murphys Oil Soap when softened. Rinse well and finish with a lihht coating of Safflower oil.

I’ve used Murphy’s oil soap, I’ll try this too
