Interesting stuff. I honestly had no idea that B52’s were not only still a part of the modern air fleet, but look to continue service for the foreseeable. It makes me wonder if there are advantages to having props on long range bombers, over jets? I guess there must be some, or the B52’s would have been replaced by now? But I would also guess that whatever that advantage is, it is only practical to use them as part of a, “combined, ” approach, with jet aircraft included? Sort of, “covering all the bases, ” so to speak?
It does make me curious to learn more, so as a short, this video did its job.
