My dog was frozen when I was a child and I drag him all the way to my house, cut on the stove and fell asleep with my arm around him. He woke me up licking my face with a lot of excitement. I miss that dog

These are the stories I want to see more of. I’m tired of politics 24/7. I need a break!

I don’t know why, but the headlines made it sound like she was frozen for several decades and was revived. But, this story is still remarkable.

I'm born, raised, and living in NYC. I heard about her when I was a teenager on Unsolved Mysteries. This woman frozed to death and was revived and still lives. SHE'S A LEGEND.

This is unheard of. Someone in my town died of hypo thermia at -5 degrees Celsius outside overnight without snow. She survived at -22 degrees laying in the snow for 6 plus hours. That's insane, It was not her time to go

Even her feet recovered. Notice how she’s wiggling her toes during the interview? How fortunate for this sweet lady, how fortunate for her children, to have survived what could have been the end of her life before ever having started.

This is incredible. Hypothermia cases are so dangerous because even when the patient is in the hospital, you also cannot warm them up too quickly because it can cause shock. It’s a very careful and slow balance of introducing heat back to the system. Big kudos to the team that rescued her that night, especially in the 80’s as they didn’t have the tech we have today!

She's a great example of the pretty much humbleness a lot of Minnesotans have when they go through hard times. Nice story.

Not BS. Happened in my hometown when I still lived there. Terrifying to worry about her at the time. Wonderful to see the update.

She was to go on to give life to three daughters who will also do great things. The simple normal life is the best life.

I can’t believe she didn’t even lose a finger, she must have just started to freeze when she was found or something

We graduated the same year and I do recall it on the news. That's so amazing...to see her living and doing well is a really nice thing to see. She's definitely a miracle and has a mission much greater than the story.
Maybe it's just to teach us to be strong and remain faithful? But whatever it is I'm glad she's ok.

I remember seeing this on the news, shows how hardy we are in Minnesota. So glad she is still alive and kicking. God bless her.

This is unbelievable because she had no problems after... Her brain is perfect, no motion damage, amputations... She's like a superhero
