Hello lady!! The first outfit is definitely good, the only mismatch was the footwear. If you had made the footwear suggestion and tweaked the accessories of the outfit, I would have clapped.
Wearing a full white to the office once is possible but that doesn't mean we can avoid wearing outfits like the first one you wore.
So, being an image consultant, you should impart your experience in such a way that, ppl learn to use their existing wardrobes by mixing and matching well. Not by making people feel that whatever they bought was incorrect.

I think you should have shown to change the look of your first outfit by matching it with apt footwear
Coz most of the Indian girls wear that kind of kurta on daily basis rather the second one or different outfit altogether
And also would have been easy for the viewers to understand how a footwear and bag change the look of the same dress
