Star Wars Skeleton Crew: Hidden Aurebesh Secrets

Skeleton Crew featured three children's stories about the Jedi...but they were all written in Aurebesh! So I translated it all:

The cave of shadow was dark and ominous. But Lina was not afraid. She ignited her lightsaber, its blue glow lighting up the darkness. Ready for what lay ahead.

Suddenly, the sith appeared before her, in dark robes and a red lightsaber. “You should not have come here,” he hissed. His voice echoing through the cave.

Druin packed his bag with everything he might need and set off on his adventure.

The H’Daka Forest was beautiful, with tall trees and bright colorful flowers. Druin felt the force flowing through everything around him. First Druin came across the ruined hut of a woodchopper. The place had been abandoned. The ax left behind, cleft into the stump of an old tree. The vines of the forest had grown back and overwhelmed everything.

Next Druin came across the paddock of a herder, who was long gone. Run off into the forest or eaten by the beast. But from their old food trough grew a strange beautiful flower. Finally, Druin felt a strong presence in the Force. He knew he was getting close to the fearsome beast. He took out his lightsaber and held it ready as the beast lunged out of the forest and loomed over him.

The knights decided to build a temple fortress. Using the Force, they lifted and shaped the rocks around them, creating the soaring towers of their new home.

The entire fortress could lower into the ground, hiding it from sight during times of danger. With their fortress complete, the jedi knights found peace and solace. They meditated together, their connection to the Force and to each other growing stronger. They were a beacon of light in the darkness and when the galaxy called for heroes, the valiant order did not hesitate.

Their fortress rose back up to the surface, and they stood ready to fight for justice and peace.

It cracks me up that Alex is now at the point of being able to read Aurabesh at a glance. 🤣
I aspire to someday obtain that level of nerdiness.

"You should not have come here" shows up in Wim and Neel's LARP session at the bus stop.

Sounds like Wim would be a big fan of Star Wars: Myths and Fables

Now knowing what was information was in the story book I can see why Wim may have thought the ship was a Jedi Temple.
All the emphasis of Jedi Temples sometimes being hidden in the ground, plus the ship door way had a similar style and shape to the symbol in the book.

All of these stories definitely already make some allusions to the story. Love how the door of the temple even matches the ship hatch! There’s clearly some love put into this series - what a fresh breath after whatever Mando 3 was.

Nice how even such blink-and-you-miss-it moments have some thought put into them

I had a feeling you were going to do this, thank you as always.

So, the stories all relate to the old / high republic era. That means that At Atton was hidden long before the Empire rose.

That's a good story. Thanks for doing that.

What's stopping them from selling this storybook? The fact that it made into the show means they actually went and built a whole interactive book.
