Daughter of Christ was born into a devout Arab Muslim family in the Middle East. She was raised with strict Islamic teachings, memorizing the Quran and participating in Quran memorization competitions. Despite her disciplined life, she felt miserable and scared of death due to Islamic beliefs about the uncertainty of salvation. After moving to the West as a teenager, she began questioning her faith, feeling empty and distant from God despite her efforts to be a good Muslim.

Disillusioned after a disappointing Hajj/pilgrimage, she stopped praying and questioned Allah's love. The birth of her nephew made her realize that she could love more deeply than the god she had been taught about. This led her to ask God directly where/Who He truly was. She eventually encountered Christianity through a video and was intrigued by the certainty of salvation expressed by a Christian speaker. After researching Jesus and praying to Him, she experienced a profound spiritual transformation, feeling God's love and presence for the first time.

Upon believing in Jesus, she faced severe consequences from her family. Her father gave her an ultimatum to either return to Islam or be cut off from the family. Choosing Jesus, she was disowned and left alone. However, she found support through her church, Christian colleagues, and an online group of Christians. Despite losing her biological family, she found salvation in Jesus. She gained a new family in Christ, found happiness, peace, and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

OMG, Daughter of Christ, i wish I could meet you. I lived in 3 Middle Eastern countries Egypt, Saudi, and Qatar. I was an avid student of the religion. As an American Muslim, I learned Arabic fluently and became a Quran teacher in Philadelphia. But I thought I was the only one who felt this extreme guilt and shame because the more I studied the more I was miserable. As Salafi Muslims, our hearts were so hard. I was also so harsh and judgmental. To the point that my ex-husband and I gave our daughters PTSD, just worrying them so much about their clothes and forcing them to pray, etc. My husband divorced me for a younger woman. He could not bear to be married to someone who was turning 50. I used the divorce as a chance to to step away from the whole Salafi Islamic scene and I 'wandered in the wilderness' for 2 years. At first I left Salafiya. I tried becoming a Sufi but it did not work. Any way I calculated it, I ended up a loser while being a Muslim. I was in debt to Allah. I owed so many prayers, I owed so many Ramadan fasts, and even owed days of fasting for my Hajj bec we could not afford to slaughter. I thought I would end up being an atheist but. 6 months ago, I found Jesus and I joined a church. The peace is indescribable. I have just started to declare my faith in Christ to my Muslim friends and you can guess the reaction. I am writing a book now about my 25-year experience as a Muslim, and just starting a YouTube channel. But I am so happy to have found this channel. Finding others online who have experienced this and made a choice to leave makes me stronger.
