What is chat gpt and why would it help someone with dyspraxia?
That’s a loaded question….there is a lot to talk about here…I’m going to try to be concise, philosophical and transparent…..as someone with dyspraxia I feel technology can be beneficial.. so let’s analyse this train of thought and begin this Journey

let’s start with the first one what is chatgpt?

Now chatgpt is everywhere… in a digital sense it has taken the world by storm….it is seen as an effective tool….a shortcut to achieving tasks….in a simple sense chatgpt is a large language model…from my perspective is is a artificial intelligence chatbot that answers questions….It engages with human like dialogue ….know your thinking what does this have to do with dyspraxia….be patient I will get there….

So in practice you type a question and chatgpt gives you an answer….so let’s begin by asking chatgp some questions on dyspraxia that seems very appropriate….

The problem with chat GPT though is that it seems smart even though it is not. Just last night I tried playing a word game with it. It was really good at getting the rules listed and even reorganizing the rules as I explained. But it absolutely failed following the rules and couldn't play the game. It even seemed to show understanding when I told her that it was wrong and was breaking the rules. But it didn't help it was terribly bad at following rules. Would you trust that system to give you accurate insight about anything?

It's really good at having a conversation with you, but it's as dumb as door nails.
